I recently got a new leased car from DCH Kay Honda. The sales experience was awesome. Poor communication related to stays of repairs. This is the second service repair in less than 30’days. I was notified that parts needed to be ordered, therefore my car needed to remain overnight. There was no update via the web connection about the car, so I called at noon the next day(Friday) to be told car was in service. No update until I called at 4:40pm left a message. Jacob called back let me know the car was ready, dept closed at 6pm. I had to figure out a ride to the location.

I have had a very disappointing experience since I purchased my used Honda Ridgeline from DCH Kay Honda. Since I have purchased it, the car has spent more weekends in Honda dealership repair shops than at my house due to issues that popped up the week after I drove it off the lot. There was an issue with one window not opening, and now another dealership service department has confirmed that the entire steering column assembly has to be replaced even though the car has < 36,000 miles. There is still an unresolved issue of creaking noise from the rear windshield that they are unable to figure out.
The truck also came missing multiple tie downs in the bed and I had to negotiate with a sales manager to get him to send me the missing parts. His solution was to take off the parts from another pre-owned Ridgeline for sale on their lot, instead of just ordering me new ones! So now, whichever customer purchases that other truck will also have missing parts.
I am not sure what kind of inspection they do when preparing pre-owned cars for sale, or if they temporarily patch issues for selling, but my advice is to stay away. This is not a good place to purchase a pre-owned vehicle!
The service was very friendly and punctual with high quality. I hope that I won’t have to come in case of any problems, but if God forbid something does happen, I know that I will always find real help and support. Thank you you very much again!

I have been getting my vehicle to service here even though I live an hour away and there are other Honda Service center near me. This is first time I experienced discrimination. Mike was the advisor. I had to let him know about the as basic as wipers not working and needed to be replaced. I required manager to be called back and the staff there starts calling me that I am the Sr.Advisor and manager cannot speak. Unless compelled that I will only speak to the manager and I am recording none were agreeing to transfer. Somehow a person named Ken called he is was so defensive that he is Mike wouldn’t do that and all. Even though he offered 10% discount which most of the coupons were offering he is like i am doing a favor which is not the case as some coupons would have anyways given me.
I am so appalled by this racist behavior by Mike and Defensive behavior by Ken I am certainly not coming here again.

This is actually a good dealership. They don’t play games with tactics and maintenance/repair costs are reasonably priced. They serviced one of my cars for years so I recently picked up another one a month ago. A good dealership among many average ones.

The only thing I didn’t care for was how the service area is set up. The service advisors sit at counter high stools and there are no chairs for the customer to sit while discussing service issues with the advisor. As an older person I would prefer to sit in a chair than stand discussing service issues with the advisor.
